Somebody asked me a few days agoif I saw the movie "He's Just Not That into You" and believe it or not, I haven't. Here's the official synopsis of the film:
A group of interconnected, Baltimore-based twenty- and thirty-somethings navigate their various relationships from the shallow end of the dating pool through the deep, murky waters of married life, trying to read the signs of the opposite sex... and hoping to be the exceptions to the "no-exceptions" rule.
Gigi just wants a man who says he'll call—and does—while Alex advises her to stop sitting by the phone. Beth wonders if she should call it off after years of committed singlehood with her boyfriend, Neil, but he doesn't think there's a single thing wrong with their unmarried life. Janine's not sure if she can trust her husband, Ben, who can't quite trust himself around Anna. Anna can't decide between the sexy married guy, or her straightforward, no-sparks standby, Conor, who can't get over the fact that he can't have her. And Mary, who's found an entire network of loving, supportive men, just needs to find one who's straight.
If you've ever sat by the phone wondering why he said he would call, but didn't, or if you can't figure out why she doesn't want to sleep with you anymore, or why your relationship just isn't going to the next level... he (or she) is just not that into you.

For the love of God do not PAY to see that movie. Though the message is a good one the movie is just not effective.
I am the last person to speak on if a guy is interested, but from what I have seen with my friends there are clear signs:
calling for last minute dates
not returning phone calls in a timely manner or not calling at all.
Wondering eye when you are together.
My bestie just went through something similar to the movie and that book actually helped her. I think its just a matter of knowing who you are, sitting by the phone waiting for someone to call is so 1990 (I didnt do it then, and the Mr will attest to that HA)
i just stop calling/picking up phone calls and when i do answer, i keep the convo short as possible and come up with random things to do that will get me off the phone.
ps: do you ever reply to our comments/read ur subscriptions? haven't seen you around much in the blogging world.

I agree with [Emeritus] 100%...
@The F$%K it List: You're 100% right! (We already discussed the 1990 issues on twitter lol)
@Emeritus: I use to take the time to slowly ease off guys, but after some bad experiences I'm very upfront in my delivery. A blunt "I don't ever want to talk to you again" usually does the trick lol. I always read the comments you guys leave and reply about 80% of the time too! I make my usual rounds in the blog world via google reader, but haven't commented in months because of my hectic schedule. Most bloggers are on twitter so we talk about posts & everything else that way all the time (Eb from RBW, kyle from 12kyle, The F$%K it List , Jaded New Yorker, etc.) Twitter is the way I stay connected with my blog world mainly :)
@DJ ED Nice: thanks for the co sign LOL
@Msjones
I have Twitter but I have no idea how to use it or find anyone.
@Emeritus: what's your name on twitter? I'll be glad to give a crash course :)
name is oluchness. I'm signed on now.
Always on the cell phone when he is with you...be it texting, talking, or "playing with applications" (in the case of the Iphone).
Does not call back like promised.
Totally disregards your concerns and takes them as personal attacks. For example: You tell him that he is walking a bit too fats for you to keep up while you are out and about and he keeps saying, "I walk fast. It's the way I am." and continues to do so.
He tells all hsi friends every personal thing you have ever told him about yourself. Does all his friends really need to know about every detail of your sex life? As in EVERY DETAIL.
He hits on hot women in front of you.
People spend as much time as they can with people or things they really like.
